Grand Tour de Force

A camera travels the world in five minutes – in a hectic rush it captures pictures in the viewfinder, trying to find any fixed points, or returning glimpses. New images overlap with which was seen, preventing the focussing and pushing the movement even further. The Tourist trade fair is the location where excessively condensed traces of of cultural identities struggle for the foremost level of authenticity. The levels of the viewers, the viewed and the enacted backgrounds become mixed together in multiple ways. The camera accompanies this parcours accross continents, it follows the undirected movement of a body, and only keeps a feeling of dizziness.
